PictSure: Pretraining Embeddings Matters for In-Context Learning Image Classifiers

This paper introduces PictSure, a framework that demonstrates the critical importance of pretraining embeddings for in-context learning image classifiers. We show how proper embedding pretraining can significantly improve the performance and generalization capabilities of these models.
